Welcome to Southeast
Welcome to Southeast Middle School, home of the Stinging Scorpions.
We take pride in our efforts to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment in which our students can learn. Our goal is to engage our students in meaningful and challenging activities that will help them become great high school students and instill the desire to become life long learners.
Our school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Southeast is an Exemplary Writing School, School of Promise and the recipient of numerous grants and awards. A dynamic faculty guides our students to explore, discover and study. We are fortunate to have the support of great School Improvement Council and Parent Teacher Organization (PTA) Board.
I would like to encourage you to visit our website often for updates and important school related information. We have created this in hopes of bridging the gaps in communication between school and home.
Respectfully,
Jeannetta Scott, Principal
